Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Design roadway, light rail, and related public works projects
- Develop quality plans, specifications and estimates for multiple projects
- Supervise engineering design technicians and other technical staff
- Review and evaluate design and construction practices
- Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic reports
- Attend project meetings and work in a team environment or independently
- Facilitate meetings with internal staff and external clients
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, or ability to obtain in six months
- Six years of experience in transportation and/or general civil design
- Microstation or other CADD experience
- Experience managing EIT’s with multiple project deadlines
